Buckets the Woodland Jumping Mouse is ready for your next adventure. This toy mouse made of all natural materials is inspired the mice we find tucked away here in the woods of New England. Their little cotton bodies are stuffed with wool and finished with a silk (yes 100% real silk!) bandana and hand embroidered features. There are two main fabrics in the body: a cobalt blue cotton canvas for the belly and legs, and a hand dyed cotton velvet with soy and avocado pits for the head and arms.
They fit snuggly in my shirt pocket and they are be perfect for small hands to carry around on summer adventures. Buckets the Woodland Jumping Mouse is the second design in our heirloom toy collection. Designed to be the kind of quality toy a child will develop a friendship with and take with them through life.
Why the name Buckets? When we first moved into our home we were greeted by a woodland jumping mouse inside. After a very cartoon style chase we caught them with a bucket when they jumped and carried them outside into the mushroom garden.
