As an ode to the resurgence of mid-century modern design we created a deck of playing cards that blends the timelessness of this classic style with the coziness and humanness we would like to see in the future. All of our number cards display different candleholders--an object that we love because its only modern-day function is to inspire a cozy environment. The face cards depict imaginary people in power who we hope come across as caring and interesting human beings in their tiny hand-drawn rooms.
This is a classic poker-size deck with 52 playing cards and two jokers in a standard tuck-box. We printed on a high quality casino paper with a textured linen finish to ensure they are both durable and satisfying to shuffle.
