DIY Tutorial: A vest for Berry the Floppy Teddy out of socks

1. Grab that pair of beautiful but ill-fitting socks in your drawer like these cashmere ones.
2. Try it on your bear to decide the length
3. cut to length and then cut the shape of the neckline along the cut edge
4. roll the top edge of each side and use a ladder stitch to hold it in place  rolled edge hem
5. cut the armholes and repeat the rolled hem on those edges
6. Whip stitch to attach the top of the shoulders
7. And now try it on your favorite floppy bear
8. Save for future birthday or holiday gift ideas or activity ideas for older kids
